Saska Secure

He was avoidant. I was anxious. We broke up three times before we made it work.

Now he’s secure, I’m secure, and I teach the part nobody taught us: how to stop guessing where you stand and start deciding what you’ll accept.

Ex-anxious, with my ex-avoidant. Three breakups, four years, one secure relationship. Hundreds of people in this pattern write to me every month.

If love feels real but the relationship never feels safe, you are in the right place.

  • You are reading silence as proof that you do not matter.

  • Every conversation turns into chasing, pressure or shutdown.

  • You understand the pattern, and you are still losing yourself inside it.

The approach

Understanding is only the beginning. Security is built through what happens next.

  1. 01

    See the pattern

Separate attachment reactions from facts, from genuine incompatibility, and from behaviour that is not acceptable.

  2. 02

    Return to yourself

Regulate the spiral, name what you actually need, and stop negotiating against yourself to keep the peace.

  3. 03

    Build secure behaviour

Communicate clearly, hold boundaries you can keep, and evaluate honestly whether repair is mutual.

The shift — security does not make you smaller. From scanning every signal, chasing immediate relief, decoding silence, suppressing your needs and waiting for potential, to naming facts clearly, regulating before acting, communicating directly, holding compassionate boundaries and choosing from evidence.

Start with the core guide

Becoming Secure Around an Avoidant

That is not weakness, and it is not being too much. It is an anxious nervous system trying to feel safe in an inconsistent dynamic. This guide is about becoming secure for real — not by needing less, but by no longer losing yourself trying to feel safe.

  • His silence stops hijacking your whole day
  • You stop reading every pullback as proof that you were not enough
  • You stop chasing relief from someone who may not know how to give it

About Saska

I did not learn this dynamic from the outside. I lived it.

I was the anxious one. He was avoidant. We broke up three times, spent long stretches in no contact, and I spent years reading silence as evidence about my worth.

What changed it was not a better strategy for holding on to him. It was stopping — accepting breadcrumbs, doing the work on my own patterns, and letting him do his. Then, separately, learning to work on the relationship together.

We are still together, and it is a genuinely secure relationship now. That is what I help people understand: not how to win someone back, but how to become someone who is no longer at the mercy of the pattern.

When the spiral starts, you need something clearer than “just stop overthinking”.

The Spiral Stopper is a short, practical guide for the hours when the silence is loudest — what to do with your hands, your phone and your head, before you send the message you will regret.

You will also get Secure Notes — occasional emails on the anxious-avoidant pattern. No spam, unsubscribe any time.

You can understand their fear without making it your responsibility to carry.
